Software Installation Guide
This document is provided to customers who have purchased SOLV V3 to use in business operations. This document is copyright protected and any reproduction of this document or any part of this document is strictly prohibited, except as DDSSI Inc. may authorize in writing.
Software that may be described in this document is furnished under a license agreement. It is against the law to copy, modify, or distribute the software on any medium, except as specifically allowed in the license agreement. Furthermore, the license agreement may prohibit the software from being disassembled, reverse engineered, or decompiled for any purpose.

This guide provides information about, and procedures for, installing the SOLV V3 software. This guide also includes information on supported peripheral devices and firmware and troubleshooting installation.
Important Information to Know Before Installing
To make sure that your software installation is successful, read the following points carefully before you start any of the procedures in this guide:
- Do not attempt to install the software without following the installation instructions provided in this guide.
- Use the task list provided at the beginning of the installation procedure in this guide to check off each task as you complete it. The order in which you carry out the installation steps are important. If you are installing to more than one workstation, make photocopies of the task list so you have a copy for each workstation.
- You need to have a valid SOLV V3 software license to legally run the software.
- If you are using SQL Server and Server Management Studio earlier, uninstall the software before installing SOLV V3.
- The SOLV V3 software is not compatible with other operating system except Windows. If you are currently managing another operating system, contact DDSSI Inc.

This section explains the operating system, hardware, and software requirements that acquisition and processing workstations must meet for the Analyst® software to operate.
Operating System Requirements
The SOLV V3 software requires Microsoft Windows 10 operating system. The SOLV V3 software does not currently support the other operating system.
Processing Workstation Requirements
For data processing workstations, DDSSI recommends the minimum computer configuration of the computer. Minimum specifications are a core i3-i7 based system with 8GB of RAM, at least 500GB of internal hard disk storage, Windows 10 operating system, and a minimum of Google Chrome. Some SOLV V3 add-on software requires additional memory, disk space, and processing speed. workstation as well.
Task List for Installing
Tip! Photocopy this checklist so you can check off each step as you proceed through the installation instructions.
- Make sure that the workstation meets the requirements for installing the SOLV V3 software.
- Gather the required and optional Flash Drives, DVDs, CDs, and downloads you need for the installation.
- Prepare the instrument and workstation for the installation.
- Log on to the computer as a user with local administrator privileges.
- Insert the flash drive with installer SOLV V3 Setup.
- Open the folder and locate the SOLV V3 Setup.exe. Before executing, you need to run the installer as administrator.
- After executing the installer, the SOLV V3 Installer Interface looks like this.
- After clicking Next, the End User License Agreement will appear. It is recommended that you read the license before continuing. To click Next, you need to tick the checkbox to enable the Next button.
- In this step, you are going to set where you would like to place the SOLV V3 folder. It is recommended that you place the folder in C:\.
- This is the Configuration Wizard. You need to input all the information needed by SOLV V3.
NOTE: Do not forget the port numbers for HQ and Branch.
- This interface will sum up the locations and applications that will be installed in your computer. Click Install, to start the installation. Note: Installing cannot be interrupted. Before clicking Install, make sure that your computer will not be interrupted.
- After clicking Install, the Setup will install all the files needed to run SOLV V3. Wait until the installation is finished. Note: The installation will take about 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the specs of computer.
- The installation is complete.
- After finishing the installation of SOLV V3. You can access the SOLV V3 by opening the shortcut in the Desktop or by entering the URL in your browser. It is recommended to use Google Chrome as the default browser. The URL for HQ: “localhost” and for the BRANCH: “localhost:90”. On first access on the website, the system will verify your license key.
- Enter the Product ID and License Key.
